Augusta National:Cabrera & Perry Take the Lead!

At Augusta National, Angel Cabrera turne in his third round in the 60’s with a 69, following two consecutive 68’s in the previous two rounds. Kenny Perry carded a 70, his first round out of the 60’s this week at the Masters, none the less, good enough to tie for the lead with Cabrera going into the final round of the 2009 Masters Championship tomorrow.
Tiger Woods is tied for 10th with eight other players; Stephen Ames, Anthony Kim, Hunter Mahan, Phil Mickelson, Sean O’Hair, Ian Poulter, Nick Watney, and Lee Westwood. At 7 back, it seems unlikely that Phil or Tiger can make a serious run for the Augusta prize. But…who knows…it is the Augusta National Masters Championship.
