The British Open – Memorable Moments – Jack Nicklaus 2005

On July 15th, 2005 Jack Nicklaus ended his professional golf career at one of his favorite golf venues, St.Andrews.Following his final tee shot at the 18th, he stopped at the Swilican bridge and waved a farewell to his adoring fans and the golf world.Although Jack wouldn’t make the 36 hole cut in the 2005 Open, the golf legend didn’t disappoint.
In true Nicklaus style, the greatest golfer in the world sunk his final birdie putt at the 18th amongst a wild and appreciative gallery.
