The Masters Championship History

The Masters is the first “Major Championship” of the PGA Tour Season and for me, a sign that spring has arrived.  It’s much more than that however.

Since 1934 when Horton Smith won the first Masters Championship the Masters has been regarded as the official start to the PGA Season.
