Will Tiger Win the 2009 Masters?
ByOk, I admit the title of my last post was a little far fetched. But if the Shark wins, I promise, you’ll get to see it again. Yes I’m still a Norman fan.
Ok, back to reality. Is Tiger ready to take on the Masters?
No one seemed surprised when Tiger returned to Bay Hill a couple of weeks ago, made a charge from 5 back and closed the deal with a Tiger-like 15 foot putt. That was his first win since returning from his 8 month absence, and it was great to see the Tiger once again showing us why he’s the best. But this is the “Masters”! Is he ready?
Phil Mikelson has two wins under his belt this year at Riviera and Doral. Phil’s been quoted as saying “I feel like right now I’m playing some of the best golf I’ve ever played.” Phil has two “Green Jackets” to his credit, and Phil loves taking on Tiger in a major championship.
The Tiger Woods, Phil Mikelson rivalry could provide one of the best Masters we’ve seen in a long time. It’s well known that these guys aren’t the best of friends off the course, but walking to the 18th together on Sunday could be one huge finish for the history books.
